Roughriders get ready for Districts

Westminster, CO - The Rocky Mountain Roughriders U16 get ready for the Rocky Mountain District Playoffs beginning on Thursday, March 1. The Roughriders ended up in second place in the State Playoffs beating the Colorado Rampage in back to back games and ultimately losing a very closely contested game to the Colorado Thunderbirds U16 by a score of 2-1.

Thursday, March 1     Bigt Bear-North     12:15pm--2:15pm     Regulators vs. Roughriders
Friday, March 2         Big Bear-South      12:00pm--2:00pm    Dallas Stars vs. Roughriders
Saturday, March 3     Big Bear-North       7:15am--9:15am      Rampage vs. Roughriders

  1. WoW - AMAZING! Someone posted "something" about the Roughriders U16 on this site AND posted "something" about Districts! No sense having a blogspot about a team and no one uses it! Good Luck U16! ****WARNING**** To future youth hockey players & parents. Join this Roughrider Organization at your on RISK! only a few great coaches, but other an that.....think of your youths safety and protect your wallet!!!!

  3. This team gets 2 place in Districts! Congrats!!!!! I see the other teams in RMR don't go anywhere, Hmmmm - need I say more, U16 coach ROCKS! Thank you Coach! You're the Best coach in Colorado!!!!!

  4. I have seen and heard A LOT of things about this RMR Hockey Organization. From my view it's not looking very well, unless they make MAJOR changes! You know what they say about how to find Texas, If it smells like Crap you're heading in the right direction, plus have yourself a famous crap pie with it!
    I know the only good thing they had going for them was their U16 coach....they done crapped that up too! They better get out the shoe polish, start fixing things! T- Birds, my boy will be playing there ESP. if they get there hands on the U16 Coach from RMR....watch out, you all thought the T-birds were great, well hold onto your heals now, they'd have the best coaching group in the state!
