San Jose, CA - The Rocky Mountain Roughriders struggled again on offense this morning as they dropped their second game in a row losing 0-2 to the Motor City Metaljackets. The Roughriders played well as a team this morning, but couldn't get the puck passed Vladyslav Slyusarchuk as he stopped all 14 shots he faced.Evan Mccarthy got the start between the pipes for the Roughriders and played stellar. The only goal he gave up actually came off of his own defenseman's skate.
The Roughrider's had a chance to tie the game with 1:00 left in the 3rd when they pulled the goalie for the extra attacker, however a turnover in the neutral zone gave Jesse Macintyre and easy empty net dump in, closing out any chance at a comeback.
